Do Valle is a distribution company created by the passion of one man to introduce the finest wines of the world to communities in the United States. It began as founder/owner Matthew J. Murphy traveled through South American cities in search of new cultures and refined tastes. Born outside the metropolis of New York City, Matthew grew up with an understanding of oenology, which was passed down from his father, who to this day, is an avid wine collector.?In the beginning, as Matthew studied Latin American culture in Buenos Aires & International Finance (Which his mother loved, who is a partner in the CPA firm Bailey, Murphy & Scarano in the same town as Do Valle), he would bring home for the holidays some of the finest Malbec wines that were cultivated in the regions of Mendoza and San Juan, just outside of the Andean Mountain range. He later relocated to Brazil where his search for fine wine continued. After years of travel and experience, Mathew returned to Connecticut, U.S.A, where he followed his dream of enjoying life and exposing his friends and family to his worldwide journeys. Here Do Valle was born.?Starting out from a small, home office in the back of his parents’ house; Do Valle blossomed into a unique wine importer & wholesaler consisting of the top wines in the world and a beautiful facility in Branford, CT.

The acquisition of key account manager and head of sales, Deborah Bazzano-Banhos, in March of 2010; solidified Do Valle as an up and coming company that was ready to make its mark. “We simply provide quality products to quality customers,” says Matthew Murphy, owner and president. “We are growing everyday [step-by-step] and look forward to meeting new people and new customers everyday.”?What began as a young man bringing back bottles in his knapsack from South America to share with loved ones, has become an international company that is proud to import & distribute products from 5 different continents.
Pronounced [doo-va-shay], it is a hybrid of the languages of love: Portuguese, Spanish (Castellano), French, and Italian; meaning “from the valley.” The double “L” sounds like a “shh” because in Argentina they speak a dialect of Spanish called castellano, where this pronunciation is present.?

Matthew and his staff not only review wines for their portfolio and hold every label to the highest standards, but their products must come from producers who share the same philosophy. “We not only rate the wine and hand select every thing that goes into our portfolio, but we interview our suppliers as well.
